June:

Collin Raye Concert - 2005 will be the 10th annual Collin Raye Concert held in De Queen, Arkansas, childhood home of Collin Raye.  You can learn more about Collin by visiting his home page at http://www.collinraye.com/home/home.htm

This year's concert will be on the evening of June 24th.  The Collin Raye ticket party will be held on April 23rd.   Come early and visit with the friendly De Queen residents and tour the Collin Raye museum.   Our Colgate Country Showdown competition will be on Friday, June 17 at the De Queen Elementary School cafetorium.  The winner of the local competition will open for Collin Raye on June 24th.

Collin's special guest this year is Clay Walker and are we ever glad to see him coming.   It is going to be a great concert.

The proceeds from Collin's concert go for local charitable projects and the community is very thankful to Collin for this.  It is a wonderful thing he does for his hometown -- so everyone, come out and support your neighbor.  Don't forget the ticket party is set for April 23rd and the tickets go on sale that night at 8:00 p.m.  Get there early and get your name on the list, stick around for the "70's Radio Show" put on by our own Gerald Nix, participate in the auction of items donated by Collin and his country music pals, and have a blast.

Hope to see you there!
